Ad esempio:dæmian: [dee-mee-in] Someone who knows their dæmon and speaks with them on a regular basis.
dæmling: [deem-leen] A dæmon that is newly discovered (i.e. the human hasn't known them long); can also be used to describe the new dæmian.
dæthiest: [dee-thee-ist] A person who doesn't believe in the existence of dæmons.
true form: Your dæmon's animal form that represents who you are, whether or not it is a form they constantly take; analogous to settled form.
surrogate form: 'Substitute form'; a form adopted because the human feels more comfortable with it than their true form.
uberwolf: Negative term for any dæmon form that is considered over-the-top, and the person is just making up an extravagant form for themselves to feel cool. Example: albino jaguar with red eyes, golden-furred wolf, fox with tattoo designs on their coat, etc.
cieday: [kie-day] Short for "came into existence" day. It's the equivalent of a dæmon's birthday. It's the day you recognized your dæmon and started a relationship with him or her. (Called cieday out of tradition, even though this isn't the day they truly 'came into existence,' as they've always existed.)
SFday: [es-ef-day] Short for "settled form" day. It's the day your dæmon settled.
settling day: Alternative version of "SFday."
changeling: A dæmon who is knowingly settled, but the human continues to envision the dæmon changing forms. Can be for short or long durations of time.
settler: A dæmon who is assumed to be settled, but neither the dæmon or human are sure what the settled form is. Usually the human will continuously proclaim their dæmon as settled in different forms, until they know for certain.
nameling: A dæmon who is nameless, or their name keeps changing. Their right name has not yet been discovered.
mate: A dæmon's romantic partner; dæmon equivilent of a girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband; traditionally the dæmon of your significant other
alternate self (AS): The equivalent of you and your dæmon in a world where dæmons are corporeal; you are the dæmon and your dæmon is the human.
orthodox dæmian: One who holds a more traditional view of dæmons, such as they cannot settle as humans and the analysis of a settled form must reflect the person.
wei: Another form of 'we' that's pronounced the same way. Used to specify that you're talking about yourself and your dæmon. Some people use this term when necessary (to eliminate confusion when talking about multiple people), and others use it in everyday conversation.
hei: Another form of 'he' that's pronounced the same way. Used to specify that you're talking about a male dæmon rather than a male human.
shei: Another form of 'she' that's pronounced the same way. Used to specify that you're talking about a female dæmon rather than a female human.
